Swim Meet 101
Mission Valley YMCA meet info:
- Our team has pop-up tents to set up camp, look for the large sign with our logo
- Before each meet, the team checks in and warm up together
- YMCA meets typically run 9:30am-12:30pm, with warm ups around 8am
- USA meets typically run 8:30-12:30, with warmups around 7:30am
- What to bring:
- plenty of towels
- tight-fitting race suit and goggles
- a few camp chairs or picnic blanket
- hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
- a winning attitude!
- Snack suggestions: easy to digest carbs for easy fuel between races
- granola bars, mini bagels or muffins, crackers
- fruit or applesauce
- electrolyte drink
- yogurt
