The Mission Valley YMCA is committed to creating a safe, healthy, and positive environment for all of their members through the development and implementation of Athlete Protection Policies, Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy, and Safe Sport education.The Mission Valley YMCA Swim Team endorses and promotes the USA Swimming Safe Sport program. It is a requirement for all USA Swimming Clubs to have policies on the Safe Sport programs.
